How do I create a Clean4you.com.au account?

You will receive confirmation and reminder emails before your service. At the bottom of these emails will be a link to create and sign in to your account.

Do you service my area?

We service any address within the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast, and Port Stephens regions. If you want to book an out of service clean please contact the office and we’ll be more than happy to try and work something out.

What is included in a standard cleaning?

Our standard clean is designed to maintain your current clean standard. All floor and bench surfaces, bathrooms, and kitchens are dusted, mopped, vacuumed and sanitised. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with our services and pricing.

How much will it cost?

Cleaning rates vary depending on the size of your home and your specific requirements. We do however offer a standard flat rate cleaning service for all sizes of homes which will cover all your basic cleaning requirements. When booking your clean you can view and select items from the extras list where required. Our standard flat rates are very competitive and provide you with our 200% satisfaction guarantee.

Do you bring your own cleaning supplies, products and equipment?

All of our cleaners come fully equipped with their own cleaning equipment and supplies. However, if you would like a particular product or equipment used in your home you are more than welcome to leave it out for the cleaner. All of our cleaners are advised to disinfect and change all cloths and sponges in between services and they are to use different cloths for bathrooms, kitchens and common areas.

How do I book my first appointment?

All you have to do is fill out our secure booking form, selecting the time and date that you want us to clean your home. It’s as simple as that and will only take you 60 seconds. Once you have completed your booking you will receive a confirmation email instantly.

Can I request special tasks or extras?

Yes you certainly can. Simply select the required service at time of booking, or sign in to your account and make the necessary modifications to your existing booking.

How do I log into my account?

How do I change my credit card?

You can apply a coupon to a future appointment by logging into your account and clicking your name in the top right hand corner. You can then select “redeem voucher” and enter your code. The system will automatically apply the code to your next appointment. You can not apply your coupon to past appointment that are already completed.

How can I cancel my service?

You can cancel your service at any given time, either online or over the phone. We have no lock-in contracts that you need to worry about. Please note: all cancellations must be made 1 business day before the service is to take place. If a cancellation is made within 1 business day, you may incur a fee which covers the cleaner’s loss of wages. Please note that if we can cover the cleaner’s time through re-allocating work. We can sometimes waive this fee, but on occasion the fee must be charged.

Pricing & Policies

What is your 200% satisfaction guarantee policy?

We appreciate all feedback we get, whether it’s positive or negative. If you are not satisfied with your service, please get in touch with details regarding what might have been an issue (we may request any relevant photos). We will then proceed with our 200% satisfaction guarantee, and aim to provide a re-clean within 2-4 days of the initial service for any missed/unsatisfactory areas and/or look at an appropriate discount if required.

What is your refund policy?

If you are not completely happy with your house cleaning please get in touch and we will send a team out to make it right. If you are still not happy enough to recommend us to your friends, we offer up to a full refund.

How can I view my Clean4you.com.au credits?

Your account profile contains everything you need to make a booking, modify an existing booking, redeem discount codes or gift vouchers, and view you loyalty credits.

Why are vouchers for first time customer only?

We occasionally run promotions to attract new clients to Clean4you.com.au, and these types of vouchers may only be redeemed by people without an existing account. However don’t worry, our loyal clients never miss out! For our existing customers we offer generous frequency discounts, a referral program (sign in to your account to view your personal referral code), and a range of other benefits as our way of saying a big Thank you for your support.

I bought a voucher however I’m out of the service area, what should I do?

Firstly thanks for your purchase. If you’ve now discovered your house is outside our general service areas of Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast, and Port Stephens you have a few options. If you’re just outside these areas please contact us and we can see how we can arrange a booking for you. Second option is to re-gift (don’t worry, everyone re-gifts despite what they may say), or thirdly we can offer a refund. The choice is yours!

Can I use a gift card on multiple bookings?

When you use a gift card any unused balance is stored on the card. You can view your gift card balance in your profile.

How do I pay for my service?

For all bookings we require a credit/debit card to secure the booking. We will not be able to complete your booking without a card on file. Please rest assured we will not charge your card until after the service is complete and we have made 3 attempts to contact you to see how the service went.

Trust & Safety

What happens if something goes wrong during my appointment?

In the very unlikely scenario something goes amiss we’ll contact you immediately to discuss the issue and any options for remediation. We understands accidents can happen which is why we’re fully insured and covered by a locally based $1,000,000 AUD insurance policy.

Is my billing information kept safe and secure?

We take the security of your information VERY seriously. We will never share or sell ANY of your information with an external source at any time for any reason (unless we’re compelled to under court order). We engage STRIPE as our payment gateway and we never view or store any of your credit card information.

Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. Read more about STRIPE security.

Do the cleaning professionals go through a background check?

All of our cleaners are required to submit all necessary checks before they commence any work. Most cleaners have working with children checks too.

Can I trust my cleaning professional?

Absolutely! All of our cleaners are required to submit all checks before they commence any work. Most cleaners have working with children checks too. All cleaners have satisfactorily demonstrated their understanding of our standards, guidelines and procedures, and must have an extensive cleaning history.

Do I have to be home during the service?

This is entirely up to you – you can be there for the service, let the cleaner in and leave, or even not be there at all. You are more than welcome to provide access to your cleaners by way of a key/lockbox. Please note that in general our cleaners work most efficiently when the house is empty of people and pets.
